How to Access a Site using Windows Hosting File

Editing the Host File:

1. Open your Windows Explorer and go to > C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
2. Look for filename: host > right-click > Open with... Notepad
3. In the Notepad type this in at the bottom and save: 221.121.156.66 smallwaterestate.com.au
4. Save the file. Do not close the file.

Flush Your IP:

1. Open Windows Start button > search Run
2. Type in cmd  > click OK button
3. In the command window, type in these commands:

ipconfig /flushdns > Enter
ipconfig /release > Enter
ipconfig /renew > Enter

6. Ping your domain if it is pointing to our server. Type in ping smallwaterestate.com.au. It should ping our IP 221.121.156.66 or 27.50.90.106
7. You can try now accessing your /wp-admin

Note: Make sure you open to remove the **221.121.156.66 smallwaterestate.com.au** from the host file. Re-save the file and do the IP Flush.
